GroomBox Standard Shear Warranty

Here at GroomBox, we have unwavering faith in the quality and durability of the shears we produce for you. Rest assured that your shears are crafted to stand the test of time. In the unlikely event that you encounter issues covered by our warranty, GroomBox is committed to getting you back to using your beloved shears without delay.

Warranty Eligibility:

Our 1-Year Shear Warranty applies exclusively to shears purchased directly from GroomBox or our authorized agents. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser, and proof of purchase in the form of a receipt is required. Please note that this warranty is non-transferable.

Warranty Coverage:

For any warranty claims, the purchaser (you) is responsible for shipping the shears to GroomBox or our designated sharpener. We will cover all repair costs. If the shears are determined to have a manufacturer defect that is irreparable, GroomBox will replace the shears with the same model or, if unavailable, a similar model at our discretion. Return shipping to you, in case of a manufacturer defect, will be covered by GroomBox.

However, if the damage is due to factors such as dropped shears, nicks from dirty fur, misuse, or setting the tension incorrectly, the purchaser will be responsible for the repair & return shipping costs.

Warranty Process:

If your shears are eligible for warranty service, they will be repaired and returned to you at no additional cost. The estimated turnaround time for this process is approximately two weeks. Shears deemed ineligible for warranty coverage will be held for up to 30 days before disposal, provided you choose not to pay for return shipping.

Custom Shears:

For custom shears, the process involves remaking them. Please be aware that the production timeline for custom shears is between 60 to 120 days. Quality is of utmost importance to us, and we assure you that each shear is meticulously crafted to GroomBox's exacting specifications.

Cosmetic Issues:

Please note that cosmetic issues, such as logo imperfections or color discrepancies on the shears, are not covered by this warranty. We exclusively address manufacturer defects that are irreparable and significantly affect shear performance.

Exclusions:

Normal wear and tear, misuse, and customer abuse, including dropped shears, inadequate maintenance, nicks from dirty fur, and incorrect tension settings, are not covered under this warranty. Decisions regarding warranty claims are made jointly by GroomBox and our selected sharpener.
